Hours: Part-time / Flexible (term-time & holiday work available)
Rate: Competitive – based on experience & qualifications
About the Role
We are seeking Level 2 qualified sports coaches to join our growing team delivering high-quality physical education and sport in primary schools, extra-curricular clubs, and holiday camps.
You will work with children aged 4–11, delivering engaging sessions that develop physical competence, confidence, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards sport and activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons aligned to the national curriculum
- Lead extracurricular sports clubs and activity sessions
- Plan and adapt sessions to suit different ages, abilities, and needs
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Manage behaviour effectively and professionally
- Act as a positive role model and represent the organisation to a high standard
- Communicate effectively with school staff and parents where required
Essential Requirements
- Minimum Level 2 coaching qualification (any sport)
- Experience coaching children in a school or club setting
- Confidence leading groups independently
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
- Willingness to travel to multiple school sites
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience delivering primary PE
- First Aid qualification
- Multi-sport coaching experience
- Safeguarding training
