Sports Club & Holiday Camp Coaches (Level 2 Qualified)

Primary Schools | Clubs | Holiday Camps

Location: Hertfordshire & surrounding areas
Hours: Part-time / Flexible (term-time & holiday work available)
Rate: Competitive – based on experience & qualifications


About the Role

We are seeking Level 2 qualified sports coaches to join our growing team delivering high-quality physical education and sport in primary schools, extra-curricular clubs, and holiday camps.

You will work with children aged 4–11, delivering engaging sessions that develop physical competence, confidence, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards sport and activity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons aligned to the national curriculum
  • Lead extracurricular sports clubs and activity sessions
  • Plan and adapt sessions to suit different ages, abilities, and needs
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively and professionally
  • Act as a positive role model and represent the organisation to a high standard
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and parents where required


Essential Requirements

  • Minimum Level 2 coaching qualification (any sport)
  • Experience coaching children in a school or club setting
  • Confidence leading groups independently
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Professional, reliable, and punctual
  • Willingness to travel to multiple school sites
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)


Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience delivering primary PE
  • First Aid qualification
  • Multi-sport coaching experience
  • Safeguarding training
